The late antique fortress called as well “The White mystery of Byala” is located on the eastern cape of Byala, 40 km to the south of Varna. The legends tell that the oldest Christian center in the land of Byala, the chapel “St. Atanasii “on the Cape of the same name, Atanas was inhabited by monks, followers of Hesychasma, distributed on our lands by Theodosius of Tarnovski. Investigations found that it dated back to Thracian cult center of production, religion and stock exchange.
